This is a special stone that I have hoarded for a long time. It is Gem Silica that captures a little bit of malachite pockets and some chrysocolla pockets creating this magnificent specimen of a gem. I hoard these stones because they are soooo cool and unusual.
Set atop a dragon scale band in sterling silver and the stone is framed in an 18 karat gold bezel.
The band is 4mm wide. The stone is 8×5mm. Fits a size 8.5 finger.
Hand fabricated in 18 karat gold, sterling silver and oxidized to bring out the texture of the band.
