March Edition of the Gravée Duo Project - Choose your own cuff bracelet, necklace pendant or jumbo ring! The March release for my year long project of making a hand drawn illustration print and a piece of hand engraved jewelry inspired by the drawing.
Growing Garden Bird is inspired by Folk Art and is filled with this year's garden possibilities! During the first of the year winter months, I usually hibernate plotting and planning what the year ahead will look like. I flush out ideas and projects while trying to make sense of how I will accomplish it all. This design is a nod to our physical and metaphorical gardens getting ready to be planted and start GROWING.
A simple 4mm domed band will be for the cuff. The Bird engraving will curve to the attachment portion.
A split shank 4mm domed band will attach to the back of the bird to make the ring.
A hidden half ring will be behind the head of the bird and sold with a 18” cable chain.
The bird is filled with hand engraved plants and blooms! Everything we dream our garden to be! The simple outline with the beautifully filled center makes for a magical visual. Each piece is hand-engraved on solid 18g sterling silver. A soft matte satin finish is applied in contrast to the bright cut hand-engraving.
The bird measures 2” long by 1.5” wide and 1mm thick without the added cuff, necklace or ring portions.
There is a matching print available as well.
