These are called Magic Pliers because you can use them in so many ways when trying to form rings, bracelets, hoops, larger sized links on chain. The brass V groove helps get tighter leverage agains the rounded steel jaw giving a solid surface to make the forming happen easily. You can use these in subtle little movements to accomplish closed joints, making wonky shapes more even, subtle little tweaks that even out a ring or cuff shape and so many more things!
